SY9486 : Damselfly demise, Stoborough Heath

Damselfly demise, Stoborough Heath
Damselfly demise, Stoborough Heath
Close examination of the photo reveals that the damselfly isn't at rest but that both its wings and its tail have been caught in the sticky leaves of the Oblong-Leaved Sundew it came to rest upon. On the left of the picture you can see that this isn't the Sundew's first damselfly victim. I'm not sure if this is a Common Blue Damselfly or an Azure Damselfly.
