King's Cross station front revealed
Lewis Cubitt would have been very pleased to see the frontage of the station he designed in the 1850s and now a prominent feature of the new King's Cross Central redevelopment. The ugly British Rail ticket office which had obliterated the Cubitt building for so long has gone and the area has been given a new lease of life.
