Fly tipper's lay-by
I have never seen the point of lay-bys like these, they just seem to be there for the benefit of fly tippers. This one had household rubbish, milk crates, fireworks, plastic pipes and no doubt more. If you ask me, it warrants an earth bank along the verge so no one can park there. Note the small lay-by is readily identifiable on the Explorer maps, but not the Landranger series.
