NS2791 : Saltire Rock

taken 10 years ago, 3 km from Auchenvennel, Argyll And Bute, Scotland

Saltire Rock
Saltire Rock
Somebody with a strong sense of national pride has taken the trouble to paint this rock on the slopes of the Strone. The sheep give an idea of scale, and it's a nice touch that the other side of the hill is an MOD firing range. Can't help feeling the artist has something to say!
