Now closed and advertised for sale. The agents’ brochure includes the following description: “Prime Commercial/Residential Redevelopment Opportunity Existing Leisure Facility on c. 3.45 acres of land Available in 2 lots . . . . . This development is to be arranged over 3 blocks on the southeast, eastern and western boundaries to include a provision of 140 surface level car parking spaces and the retention of an open space area in front of the site”. The photographs submitted by me appear as a matter of record only. I have no connection with any of the parties involved in the sale.
The site has the following planning permission (4 May 2017) “LA06/2016/0246/F Demolition of the vacant leisure centre and erection of a new 85-bedroom hotel and associated car-parking, access and ancillary works Former Leisure Centre site at Castle Park Avenue Bangor”.
