On the left one can see the bent crankshaft for the horizontal duplex steam engine and the rusty lump beyond is the vertical boiler. Some of the gearing is seen on the right and the winding drum is above. The crane is self-propelled and the one engine looks after travelling, slewing, luffing and hoisting via gears and clutches.
