Horse, Birmingham New Street
In 1987, twelve different horse sculptures by Kevin Atherton, titled "Iron Horses", were erected between New Street station and Wolverhampton station. The title refers to the nickname of "Iron Horse" used for engines in the early days of the railways.

I don't remember which platform this one was on. They were commissioned by British Rail and the West Midlands County Council for the Birmingham to Wolverhampton railway corridor.

During my journey I saw the one at Wolverhampton station, and also one galloping across a field.
