taken 10 years ago, near to Garsdale, Cumbria, England

Wooden platform, Snaizwold Fell
Wooden platform, Snaizwold Fell
This platform in a re-entrant of the conifer plantation may have been a hunters' high seat, used for shooting deer when the trees were being established. It appears to be derelict now.
