Ramblers by the River Tweed
Ramblers by the River Tweed
The Borders Abbeys Way, a circular long-distance walking route in the Scottish Borders, here follows the south bank of the River Tweed. With the construction of Borders Railway, the Southern Uplands Way which previously followed the trackbed of the old railway has now been diverted and runs in common with the Borders Abbeys Way for over 4 km from Galafoot Bridge to Chain Bridge.
