B9840 : Marble Arch

Marble Arch
Marble Arch
The name is a misnomer, because the rock is not marble, but quartzite. Previous images have shown it in calm weather, but in this view there is quite a sea, and the waves are breaking high over the rocks at the foot of the arch. For a zoom view see B9840 : Marble Arch.
