East Donyland is a village and civil parish in Colchester borough, Essex, England. In 2011 it had a population of 1930 Link. East Donyland was recorded in the Domesday Book as "Dunilanda"/"Dunulunda" Link. The parish also includes the settlement of Rowhedge. More on the history at Link. If you look on Link and zoom in and select 19th century, you can see that East Donyland was a settlement, while Row Hedge was just and area, while a 2013 A-Z Essex shows Rowhedge to be a settlement and not East Donyland. West Donyland can also be seen, which nower days is Berechurch.
