Weaver Sluices
The Weaver sluices are situated opposite the confluence of the River Weaver and the Manchester Ship Canal. They are used to control the level of the Ship Canal and the water drained through the sluices is discharged into the River Mersey estuary. This was taken from the Ferry Boat Snowdrop
