SS5747 : Combe Martin Outfall Buoy

taken 10 years ago, near to Combe Martin, Devon, England

Combe Martin Outfall Buoy
Combe Martin Outfall Buoy
A green marker buoy north of the village of Combe Martin marks the position of the sewage outfall.

I have located this buoy as accurately as I am able using charts and the position of the boat when taken; if further accurate data become available I will update the references.

Update 2018: It would appear that in the four years since this was taken the buoy has been relocated further south - see SS5747 : North Devon : Coastal Scenery.

Update 2020: According to charts the correct position for this buoy is SS 5744 4780, as opposed to my original GPS reading of SS 5732 4806 - as this seems too far for the buoy to have moved, I am relocating it to the chart provided position at 51.2116N 4.0423W (SS 57444 47804).
