The summerhouse, visible at the right, is late 18th century. As recently as 1986 it was in a fairly ruinous state. Thankfully it has been restored at some point after 1997. There is a plaque within that states:

'Restored in the memory of Freda Lyons née Durn 16-1-1910 to 15-1-1997 who enjoyed walking in these grounds'

The summerhouse is listed Grade II LinkExternal link

A notable feature is the wall to which it is attached. Apparently it is a crinkle crankle wall. I'd never heard of it either LinkExternal link
