London: the Tower of London from the Shard
Looking down on the Tower of London, fortuitously coinciding with a gap in the clouds and a patch of resultant sunlight. The Tower stands in a sea of red, commemorating the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War - a total of 888,246 poppies each commemorating a Commonwealth serviceman or -woman who perished during the War.
