Llandudno Junction old signalbox
Llandudno Junction old signalbox
A 1983 interior view of the old mechanical signal box at Llandudno Junction. It was built by the LNWR and opened in 1897 in conjunction with the new station at Llandudno Junction. The signal box closed on 10th February 1985 and was replaced by a second hand flat roof type in which parts arrived from a redundant signal box from the West Hampstead Resignalling Scheme in the late 1970s.
