SE0940 : Sluice gates on bank of River Aire

taken 9 years ago, near to Crossflatts, Bradford, England

Sluice gates on bank of River Aire
Sluice gates on bank of River Aire
The wall holds three sluice gates that control the water-flow to the mill race of Castlefields Mill.
The channel from the river is silted up, so it is impossible to see how large the metal slides are.
There is a weir just to the right.
