The bay west of Kinvara Harbour. On the far left is Delamaine Lodge, built in 1760 by Captain William Delamain, a Huguenot trader whose ancestors had fled from France in the late 17th Century. Included in the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage - see LinkExternal link.

The boat on the right is a Galway Hooker, a traditional design of boat originally used for fishing in Galway Bay.
