The hawthorn blossom was magnificent this year, lasting well into June in this valley despite its alternative Mayflower name. The road leads right to Rhandirmwyn, and left to Abergwesyn or Tregaron. Nantyrhwch was burnt down in unexplained circumstances in the 1990s, but has been well restored by the current owner ... who has retained the "rustic" nature of the barns.
