The Neath and Tennant Canal Society members meet at Tonna workshop on a regular basis to perform tasks such as weed cutting and general maintenance.
The members are standing outside the ruins of the "long shed" which has a saw pit where trees were cut into planks for the construction and maintenance of the barges used on the canal.
