Crossing the road by the Royal Bank of Scotland
Crossing the road by the Royal Bank of Scotland
Saturday shoppers at what is probably Aberdeen's busiest crossing for pedestrians at Union Street, Market Street (out of sight to the left) and St Nicholas Street pedestrian zone to the right. Behind them looms the B-listed Royal Bank of Scotland building (see: LinkExternal link ) from 1929 with its massive Corinthian columns and classical doorway emphasising its solid permanence. Farther down Union Street are original granite buildings from the 1820s: LinkExternal link .
