New to Crosville [see
Link] as DVG512, this venerable Bristol VR is the last survivor of its kind in a former Crosville depot.
For a few days at the end of September 2006 it performed the S2 Snowdon Sherpa service ferrying walkers, cyclists and other tourists between Betws y Coed and Pen y Pass.
This appears to be the only time an open top VR was used on this service. For this photographer, here was the highlight of the Crosville centenary year.
