SN7377 : Footbridge on the Nant y Fawnog

taken 9 years ago, near to Devil's Bridge, Ceredigion/Sir Ceredigion, Wales

Footbridge on the Nant y Fawnog
Footbridge on the Nant y Fawnog
This bridge was installed when the footpath from Pontarfynach/Devil's Bridge into the gorge was diverted away from the Vale of Rheidol railway, which runs in a narrow cutting for a short stretch Link . After crossing under the footpath and, a little further downstream, the railway, the Nant y Fawnog drops some 120m towards the Afon Rheidol in a series of cascades.
