Camp Hill Top Lock No 52, Grand Union Canal
This is a significant point, for it is the first narrow lock that the northward-working boatman will encounter on his journey. He will sigh with relief at its ease of operation as compared with the heavy wide locks of the Hatton and Knowle flights. Of course, if he has a boat more than 7 ft wide, he will have to turn round go back again!
