Moel y Gydros summit panorama looking east
Looking east from Moel y Gydros, the B4501 Frongoch to Cerrigydrudion road snakes around the foot of the hill. Above is the rough moorland covered hill of Y Gesail, with a lone wind turbine straddling the Gwynedd/Conwy border slightly below near Craig y Llwynog. To the right is the exposed ground on Pen y Ffordd Goch, Eglwys-Anne Warren Ffridd and Cerrig y Gordref. In the background here is the popular hill walking summit of Moel Emoel and in the distance the lonely peaks of Cyrniau Nod, Y Groes Fagl and Trum y Sarn. Dominating this view is the bare rocks of Garnedd Fawr and Foel Goch, which lie between here and Cefnddwysarn/Sarnau. Peeking between these summits is far away Moel Sych, approx 13 miles away.
