The moss covered dam wall at the southern end of Llyn Trawsfynydd. The single track road on the left provides access from Trawsfynydd and the A487 to the lake and a number of homes and farms on the western shore. The largest peak in the background is Moel y Gyrafolen, 2 miles away and part of the Rhinogydd range. To the right is Craig y Gwynt and to the left is Foel Penolau and Moel Ysgyfarnogod. In the far background on the left is Craig Ddrwg and Graig Wion.
