Moel y Gydros summit panorama looking east-northeast
Looking east-northeast from Moel y Gydros the village of Cerrigydrudion can be seen, surrounded by grazing pasture. To the right, another couple of wind turbines on the slopes of Y Drum, many of these are to be found in this part of Conwy. Further right in the foreground is the bleak moorland of Moel Gwern-Nannau and Mwdwl-Eithin(Ty'n y Pistyll) approx 5 miles distant. Further in the background here the Clwydian range can be seen, including Moel yr Accre, Moel y Waun, Moel y Plas and Moel Gyw. All are approx 18 miles away. Directly ahead is the dense woodland of Clocaenog forest and its highest summit at Craig Bron-Banog. Just to the left Moel Famau is visible, approx 19 miles out. Further right is the large windfarms at Tir Mostyn and Foel Goch, with the Clwydian peak of Penycloddiau just visible in the distance.
