Bramley station, with arriving train
Bramley station, with arriving train
The original Bramley station, west of Swinnow Road bridge, was closed in 1966. A new station was opened on 12 September 1983, consisting of an eastbound platform on the original site, and this westbound platform east of the bridge. The station is unstaffed and does not even have a ticket machine, only simple platforms and basic shelters.

Not all the trains between Leeds and Bradford stop here. The train in the photo is Sprinter number 150271, on the 09.20 Leeds to Manchester Victoria service.
