Mystery object
Mystery object
This object on the low water line is about three feet long and was reported to the Police and Coastguard as "suspicious". It is actually concrete ballast from the keel of a yacht and has since been removed from the beach.

June 2020: The same object, in the same location (it was never actually removed in 2013) caused another bomb scare on June 11th, resulting in police, coastguard and bomb squad being called out again.
