Benbane Head
This isn't the easiest of squares to get into, but it is rewarding when one has slithered down the cliff! In the foreground is a flow of the lower Antrim basalt - older than the nearby Giant's Causeway, but weathered into similar patterns. The headland itself is in afternoon shadow, but the sun still picks out the weathered tops of the basalt columns of the lava flow.
