Irish Air Corps CASA/IPTN CN 235-100 over Dundrum Bay

This Spanish-built plane, of which the IAC has two, is used for daily maritime patrols in Irish territorial waters as well as beyond into the Eastern Atlantic. Ancillary tasking include roles as top cover search and rescue, air ambulance and the transportation into action of Irish Army parachutists.
