Ankle-breaker paving becomes ash-tray
This type of paving has been used in new developments in Taunton, presumably to deter pedestrians. Here it creates pockets that fill with cigarette ends and other bits of rubbish left by the people who shelter and paint under the bridge, and blown in here from elsewhere.
