SS4984 : Looking inland near Holy's Wash

taken 17 years ago, near to Oxwich Green, Swansea/Abertawe, Wales

Looking inland near Holy's Wash
Looking inland near Holy's Wash
The incoming tide is creating a good deal of foam which is gradually being forced further up the beach by a combination of wind and wave power.
The mean high water mark can clearly be seen; where the limestone changes from dark to light grey.
Evidence of erosion of the fields can also be seen.
