NM7174 : Link valley

taken 8 years ago, near to Kinlochmoidart, Highland, Scotland

Link valley
Link valley
The bottom of this valley is almost horizontal so the stream in it has formed an unnamed lake or lochan. (Apologies to Scots who naturally use "loch" instead of lake. As I speak only English I use the word "lake" in the same way as I do if I talk about the big lakes of Switzerland.) Local people were once familiar enough with these mountain features to give them names but these days I guess only a few stalkers and walkers go up there.
