This memorial on the south wall (outside) of Aylsham Parish Church remembers the local landscape gardener, who worked for some time with "Capability" Brown. There is also a memorial window inside the church (west wall). It is interesting to see the spelling of it's (possessive). Now regarded as illiterate, this was the current practice of the time, according to expert David Crystal.
