Geograph - photograph every grid square

The most northerly point in Britain which has ever been inhabited.

With sincere apologies to John McCormack, Jack Judge, and all the others who claim to have written "Tipperary", I have composed the following doggerel in memory of the last lighthouse-keepers on Muckle Flugga:

It's a long way to Muckle Flugga,
It's a long way to go.
It's a long way to Muckle Flugga,
And the lighthouse I well know.
Goodbye Plymouth Harbour,
Farewell Francis Square.
It's a long long way to Muckle Flugga,
But my life was there.

(Actually I don't think there is a Francis Square in Plymouth, but there ought to be.)

It was a book called "It's a long way to Muckle Flugga" by W R Mitchell, first published in 1990, that inspired this nonsense. Unless you live on the Shetland Islands, it is indeed 'a long way to Muckle Flugga'. But worth the trip.
