The spire of St Nicholas Church, Dundalk
This is the Anglican (Church of Ireland) parish church of Dundalk. The image was taken from the bus station in The Long Walk.
St Nicholas CoI Church, Dundalk
A thirteenth century foundation, the church was badly damaged in the Catholic Uprising of 1641 and again during the Williamite Campaign which culminated in the Battle of the Boyne in 1690. Because of its oxidized copper spire it is known as the Green Church.
