This church stands in Church Street a short distance from its Catholic namesake.
St Nicholas CoI Church, Dundalk

A thirteenth century foundation, the church was badly damaged in the Catholic Uprising of 1641 and again during the Williamite Campaign which culminated in the Battle of the Boyne in 1690. Because of its oxidized copper spire it is known as the Green Church.
