Bective Abbey
Founded circa 1150 by the Cistercians with additions up to the 16th century. The interior was used for one scene in the Braveheart film.
The Abbey lies close to the intersection of four grid squares, but is clearly shown in this square on the 1:50000 OS Discovery Series Map (Sheet 42).
