This according to tradition is the grave of a Spanish beauty Cauthleen O'Hanlon who died here of disappointment when she realised that she had been tricked by her husband's promises of vast landed wealth. Her husband Lorcan, son of the Chieftain of Omeath. then threw himself into the nearby bog and his body remains undiscovered
