SE4225 : Castleford Railway Station

taken 17 years ago, near to Castleford, Wakefield, England

Castleford Railway Station
Castleford Railway Station
This is the only platform now used at Castleford, the footbridge being locked up. Castleford is an 'in and out' station since trains calling here bound for Leeds or for Pontefract and beyond reverse taking a different route at the junction a couple hundred yards just out of view in this picture.
