taken 18 years ago, near to Buttermere, Cumbria, England

Very Still Buttermere
Very Still Buttermere
Clear, sharp January morning. Red Pike on the left, Mellbreak in the distance. The peninsula with trees on is called Hassness and is formed by the deposits flowing down from Buttermere Fell to the right out shot.
