The 'Long Hole', Bangor
The 'Long Hole' at dusk as seen from the Seacliff Road. Note the little island on the extreme right in the foreground - it doesn't look like much here but a sizeable portion was knocked off the end (see bottom left of J5082 : The Seacliff Road at dusk) by the effects of wave and wind action from Storm 'Doris' a few weeks ago.
The Long Hole
Also known as the 'Big Hole', this small harbour in Bangor, now silted up and disused, was created when stone was quarried out in the 19th Century.
