Great Hall: Pembroke Castle
Great Hall: Pembroke Castle
From St Anne's Tower. The square tower accommodates the Great Hall in its upper storey. To the right is the Pembroke River tidal barrage. This was built in 1975 and protects the town from high spring tides. By impounding fresh water, it also supplies cooling water to Pembroke power station.
