Old Railway Route to Callander
Old Railway Route to Callander
This was originally the route of the Dunblane, Doune & Callander Railway, viewed from the railway bridge. This company was swallowed up by the Scottish Central Railway before being absorbed by the Caledonian Railway. In 1923 it became part of LMS. The original railway was reputed to be the only railway company in Britain to incorporate all its stations in the company name!!
