Rossbeigh Tower
Rossbeigh Tower
This image was taken in 2004. In the year 2008 a serious storm destroyed a 1200 foot sand dune washing it into the sea and in 2011 the tower collapsed. Since then it has been estimated that some 5,000,000 tons of sand have been lost from the strand.
