Rough Island from Scrabo Hill
Rough Island is the drumlin in the centre of the image. It is situated in the Comber Estuary in Strangford Lough and is cut off from the mainland at high water. A concrete causeway links the island with Island Hill on the mainland. The island is owned by the Ards and North Down Borough Council and is open to the public.
