Statfold Barn Railway - incongruous
Statfold Barn Railway - incongruous
Oilseed rape - the bane of period film producers (especially with aerial sequences). Here we see Burton & Ashby Light Railway tramcar No. 14 approaching the new tram terminus at Oak Tree Halt. The railway only operated from 1906 to 1927. Therefore, the original passengers on this tram would not have been passing swathes of bright yellow oilseed rape.
