Church of All Saints, North Collingham
Church of All Saints, North Collingham
Although this church, dating from the 11th century, is regarded as the main parish church for the village of Collingham, North and South Collingham used to be separate parishes each with their own church. Even though it stands on the aptly named Low Street, the church is on a slight rise and has escaped the floods from the River Fleet during the last centuries. The depth of an 18th century flood is carved into the gate post at the western end of the churchyard.
