Dublin Harbour, Great South Wall
Dublin Harbour, Great South Wall
The Great South Wall, (also known as the South Bull Wall) at the Port of Dublin, extends for more than four kilometres out into Dublin Bay. At the time of its construction in the mid-18th century, it was the world's longest sea wall. It faces the newer Bull Wall, and together, they provide a walled shipping channel into Dublin (LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) Dublin Port Blog).
